Replaced a ATI Rage Pro 8meg with the RFMaxx 64meg. Was getting 60-80fps at 1280x1024 32bit. But immediatley started getting continuos "Loss of Host" messages or basically getting punted from server. Figured bad connections noisy lines. But after the 4th day I tested ping was stable 260ms and no loss. Begin to suspect Vid Card but made no sense. Changed to beta drivers, no change. Messed with res, color, etc... still got punted sometimes within in sec's but sometimes 5,10,15 - 20 min later.
Finally put old card back in to prove it to myself and sure enough stable server connects ever since. Bought the card to get the 60+ fps and 32bit hi rez, runnin Win 98 SE on a pent III 450 w128meg. Anyone have a suggestion what i can try to do?
