When you are poor you kind of make up stuff as you go... I have combined some quite unusual foods in the past, putting together what I have around the house.

I can't believe I haven't done this before.

thick hearty chili, on bread like a sloppy joe, with some raw onions in there too.

:O :aok :D

any weird things you've made?

My Dad used to love leftover cold Chop Suey in a hotdog bun.

Had to be a hotdog bun, though, because putting it on plain old bread was stupid.

Wrap a hotdog in a corn tortilla and deep fry it.

A poor man's Taquito.

Put a packet of taco seasoning and fried hamburger into a double batch of macaroni and cheese.

It spices up nice.

make a hot dog all the way, chili, onions, slaw, mustard, etc, but no hotdog instead use 3 or 4 slices crisp cooked bacon. yummmm good. at work, long time ago,  where I made this. drove the cafeteria lady crazy, trying to figure how to charge for it.

whatever that peanut butter candy was, in a sandwhich. my Father called it my candy sammich. lol we was on the road to a bear/hog hunting trip near Robbinsville, NC and I was hungry.
I made all kinds of weird stuff to eat, can't remember them all.

reefer has nothing to do with it.  :p

This isn't my invention, it's Weird Al Yankovic's.

Twinkie wiener sandwich:
1 hot dog
1 Twinkie
1 can of eazy cheez

Slice Twinkie down the middle for use as the bun, slice raw hot dog into the Twinkie and top with cheez.  MMM MMM good!

A can of Chef Boyardee spaghetti with half a sleeve of crackers crushed up in it.  Makes it quite filling.

I put chili in a bown on spagetti noodles, with some shredded cheese on top.

I put beef stew on bread as an open face sandwich.
