Take an M-8 out, stay in first gear at all times, just as effective vs Tiger Tanks.

Enjoy.

Nahh, not if it was the Firefly ;)
BTW, is our Tiger turret traverse in RL speed (1 rpm)???
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

The GV's in game don't get the same level of detail attention that the planes do, but the Tiger's did have a notoriously slow traverse.  Why they are more effective in long range sniping, or close range maneuvers in open ground: You turn the tank as well as the turret in combat.

The Sherman, and probably not the Firefly, could take on the Tiger's 1 on 1 and come out ahead that often.....  Tigers, and even Panzers, were overwhelmed by numbers and attrition.  The Allies could replace tanks faster and easier than the Axis, and build more of them in absolute numbers.  Sherman crews were expendable cannon fodder in the war effort.  The old ratio was something like 3 or 4 Shermans lost for every Tiger killed, and Allies still came out ahead.

They amount to little more than targets in this game.

Raise your eyes, higher, higher, higher yet, to the button that says "search".  Type in "sherman" and go crazy.
