Think I read somewhere the idea that all perks would total as one total. So as you could earn perks in any area and burn them in an other area. I think that this would be good for the game and simple to do. For myself it would give me the opportunity to jump into a 262 sometime!...not that i could shoot anything down ..but it could be entertaining!

And as bomber & gv perks are very easy to get, the Arenas would be flooded with perk planes...

LOL fighter perks are easy to get - bomber and gv perks are pretty scarce on my score card.

I like the idea.

Usually you have to engage other pilots and shoot them down to get points. Forbuff & gv perks you don't need that, thanks to EW & MW arenas

True at first, but over time, people would deplete their stock piles of Perks and the issue would solve itself.

I for one, would like to spend my perks however I want. I have plenty of bomber points I rarely use, my fighter points r always low to gone and my GV points only get used for tigers, which I use infrequently.

It would not, as buff & gv perks are fast & easy to aquire even without any skill by shooting & bombing structures in an underpopulated arena.

And the real and fair solution for unused bomber perks would be the addition of one or two perked bombers and/or perked ordinance (I really like the "500lbs bombs are for free, every bomb bigger has a price" idea).

LOL, I see so many problems with that. Most of my bombing is done either strat or on towns. I use a b-17 filled with 16-250# and pinpoint bomb (NOT carpet bombing) from 30K.

I don't think I've added anything bigger than 500# in a very long time. And it's usually against the most populated country in either of the late war arenas. Hence to 30K flying.

Now, I like flying the AR-234B a lot. It's like trying to land a modern small passenger jet. It takes a lot of foresight to get one (let alone three) back on the ground in one piece. Bombload is small, but I find it a fun plane to fly anyway.

None of the "light" bombers tickle my fancy. Adding a b-25 or he-111 isn't going to do anything for me. Now, add a b-29 and you've got my attention. But I can see the problems it would create. Too high, too fast and a massive bombload. Kinda hard to defend against that.

I think the perk system should stay on the same track it's on now. Fighter perks for fighters, bombers for bombers, etc. al.

Fly high ENY planes and you'll have plenty of perk points. Fly a spit 16 or La7 and such and you'll need 4-5 times the kills to get the same perks. Then, fly it for the under populated country to get that perk multi work for you.

Bomber perks are way too easy to harvest. Especially when your country has advanced beyond enemy factories and cities leaving them as bomber-perk harvest fields.

Ok how about if perk points could be used to buy a additional CV group that you alone would command?..or how about they could be cashed in for some real value at a store/company addvertising on AH ..like pepsi or freddricks of hollywood? ideas ideas...................

Maybe we should fine people perk points for rude behavior. For example, the moderator goes off, Bam! 20 perks gone. Goes off again, Wham! Your only flying goons or Stukas.

See the various German 88mm FlaK and A-26 Invader threads in Airplanes and Vehicles and the Wishlist Forums.

I'd much rather get something worth spending bomber perks on other than the Ar234. A second perk ride for GV's also is noteworthy.

I do agree with 999000 that I want *something* to use them on.

* Let me buy up to 3 more drones. Good-bye cities and strat factories!
* Set bombers to their typical loads, and maximum loads which require perks.
* A-26B and A-26C attack bombers.

Trading them in for other kinds of perks, or just a single perk system I suppose makes some sense..... but, if you've collected lots of buff perks, you obviously like to fly bombers.... why not have more options to use those bomber perks on?

(Not getting the B-29. He-177 with guided ord would work, but not getting guided ord, so it is not worth it. Not getting Lanc Specials... no "tallboy" or "grand slam" as "4K cookie" is largest bomb we are likely to ever see. Ju-188? Just a little more ord than carried by a B-17's 6K, less than B-24's 8K, at a 30mph faster than B17 or B24 at near 20K alt., with less defensive guns available to protect it. Ju-388 never really got operational, and only comes into it's own at super high altitudes.... one of the arguments against the B-29's inclusion. I champion two versions of the A-26.)

I just had visions of me flying my own fully stocked B-17 bomber mission by buying single, perked drones and adding them until I ran out of points.

Now THAT would be awsome!:eek:
