Nope, Rodney doesnt have time to play games:confused: he's in his shop till 6-7 some nights and throw in a couple of Saturdays to boot.  He's got 3 guys working for him and besides the insurance jobs, he's got two Corvette Stingrays he's workin on, 65 and 66 i think,  a 68 Olds Delmont, 65 Mustang,  two more 69 Camaros, 67 Camaro, and a 68? Ferrari.

Shoulman (Dwight) is the handyman guy, works at Home Depot and knows just anything you need to know about houses, plumbing, wiring, power tools, plants, trees, etc.

I am very happy with my sister's they picked some really cool guys to marry.

Straffo, you can have your pick of anyone of those cars for your birthday, I mean pic   maybe a nice 8x10 glossy?

Mav, what can I say, everybody is particular about their cars, what one person likes the other person doesnt.   Although that mustang was fine as SW bought it, it was plain.  I go to car shows and see dozens of mustangs that look just like that.   I just like the way SW set that car up, it looks aggressive.  I like black just fine though I thought it might have looked good in a deep dark red.   Rodney says Black is the hardest to do because you cant hide any body imperfections, it has to be perfect.  Rodney painted the mustang 4 times before he was happy with the finish.  One reason?  SW told Rodney he didnt need to strip the car down to bare metal because the car had recently been restored.  After they first time they painted it they noticed a small circle on the top of the right rear quarter.  Apparently there had been an antenna mounted there and they guy that did the restoration used bondo to fill the hole.  It didnt show up when they sanded, but when they painted it black it showed up.  and to start all over.

I agree with the comments about the mustangs.  I also didn't like the engine in the Camaro though, it's just so...bland looking.  It needs some chrome on top or something, some highlights.  Otherwise, beautiful cars:aok

So who is the chick who owns the mustang?

Only chicks own them right?  :D

The Camaro is very nice though.

Black looks great on a musclecar but I would NEVER own a black car again.

Owned two many and they are WAY to hard to keep the paint looking nice.

I do have to comment how bland the current mustangs are.  With just a quick glance I think they are a regular sedan.  That's not the way it should be.

I have mixed feelings on customs.  On one hand I really respect the time, effort and, in most cases, the craftsmanship shown in them.  OTOH, I am a stock nazi...dunno why really.  I pristine vintage stock car to me is the ultimate expression due to the fact that so many cars are customized.

That being said these cars are tough.  Styling like that is timeless and speaks volumes; form before function.  Aerodynamics be damned.

Props to your brother in law Air, those look killer.

Im surprised Lazs hasnt chimed in yet.  Killler cars!

No, Curv and Toad are fine...its the Beetle posts that always come down to the same thing:  Gun control.  Thread after thread.

But seeing Nuke & Toad teamed up against Curv and Beet makes for some fun reading.

I didnt post a picture of the only El Camino at the car show

anyway, I got home and I have some more pics of the cars.

this is SW's 69 SS when Rodney was fixing it

also a couple of pics of Rodney's Camaros,  69 and 68

Silver 69,  hey Straffo its for sale too :aok

not the best picture I've ever taken,

and then the 68
excuse the dust, he covers it up but then people come by and look at and he doesnt cover it back up

He won best of show and best paint with this car at a lot of car shows back 2000 and 2001 from Texas to Las Vegas and Phoenix and other cities.
It's his 68 Camaro, first car he bought at 14, drove during high school and then decided to make it pro street, not my favorite look but it grows on ya.  Took him something like 8 or 10 years to finish it.  Mostly because he spent so much time doing other peoples cars

Really nice work, REALLY nice cars
Hate the tires though

Noth'n personal I just dont like that style of the uber thin tire between the rim and the tread
Dunno. to me they look rediculous in general
and definately dont belong on those cars

And I miss the old Cragar rims of the 70's

but thats just my own personal prefrence
