Maybe it's because im trashed out of my mind...Well yea.  Thats definately the reason.  Anyways....Tonight I ran into an ex girlfriend, who has always stayed in my mind.  She is the one that four years later, I just cant get over.  It was great catching up, and we had an awesome conversation.  Unfortunately, I know for certain that we will never get back together, and it sucks....

anyways.....corny, but I wrote a poem about it and thought i'd share.

Blizzard-

I went outside to think about it.
I thought of you...  
I thought of us...  
I hung my head in shame........................ ...
Clouds cover the moon.
The first flake falls from a storm that was never supposed to be.
This blizzard has consumed me.

We've all been there I think. At least I know I have.

Meet up with people from our past and get to thinking "what if" or "if only"

or shudder and think "how could I have been such an arse." Over one thing or another we have said or done.

And its funny how old wounds can be re opened so easily.

Just gotta live with them and learn from them.

And maybe not get drunk and post about them LOL

But my guess is you hadta get it out of your system. Which is why subconciously the reason why you got drunk and put em out there.

No biggie. Couple days from now few people here will remember..or care.

Real men don't write poems about lost girlfriends. Maybe about war or their first car but never about an Ex.

Will the closest man to him smack him on the back of the head! ( If you think poems are nice don't smack him cause your next)

I did something similar, though I did'nt cheat on the girl, I left the country and did'nt stay in touch. I lost out.

That was 46 years ago...

We got together again in 2005. We are getting married in August of this year. We both had the oportunity to grow up, decide what we REALLY wanted in life, and when we got together again it was almost like we had never been apart.

I carried her in my heart for 45 years without ever knowing what was going on in her life.

I am fortunate. She feels she's fortunate. Don't ever give up the dream.

Life and Love can be really wonderfull  :) :)
