« on: March 27, 2000, 11:45:00 AM »
Just installed Sailtek USB joystick and throttle, also have CH pedals.. everything running OK, verygood actually..
Problem; can't seem to map a key for RW.. does the "key mike" key work for rw? it doesn't seem to do anything..... When i go into the game extensions (sialtek) and map a key to rw it still doesn't work.. any ideas..

works well with USB ch pedals.. everything maps ok..... spoke with saitek today and they gave me other things to try...

email me at docgolf@home.com
would like to know your setup...

Had USB pedals installed before x36 but i won't think it would make any diff.... in AH setup I get both the pedals and the joystick combo show up... map rudders to pedals axis Z, everything else on X35/36...

In RW Setup, you can use F12 as Default or voice actuated.  Are you using a headset or are you using F12? Check the Transmit tab on RW and see what ya have selected.  Point a key to F12, or just use voice actuated-for headset configuration.  Sorry, I am not sure how Saitek works, I know they are a bear to program. (Another thought..F12 is pressed and held to talk, I don't think any key will "HOLD" the key down for you, they only select it and then release it.)was an after thought......

What kind of settings do you have? Can't get it to work, and when I look at kirin he has 0 for press, 0 for release and .20 for whatever else it is.

This is the reply I gave in another post.
It appears that you are all wrestling with the same problems I did when I first programmed the Saitek.
Download my Saitek profile on the downloads page. I did extensive on line testing before deciding on this final set up. It may save you a lot of problems now and in the future with other keys and buttons.

If you would like to use something other than the "t" key for transmit to avoid mike clicks, just replace the "t" in the profile with the "end" key as that one is not in use for Aces High. I programmed Vox with the "t" key as it's Aces High default key for transmit.

Most of us don't have any problems with the Saitek x36 USB
