Sound?

Last night I went on and d/l the lastest version.  As I try to start the game everything is fuzzy and hard to read.  The main menu board is very hard to read, can't tell the plane types well and even the cockpit view is hard to read what ammo you have left and so on.  What is the reason behind this?  Also, I can hear my engine in the game but I cannot hear anything else.  This includes my gear, when I fire, when I get hit, bomb doors, bomb hits, etc.   What is the cause of this or how can i correct this???  This did not happen in the older version.  I wnat to get this fixed and would hate to have to quit this game but if I can't get this fixed I will be forced to quit.  I am running a PII 300 with 64 megs memory with  a Diamond Monster III video card and not sure of the sound card.  Any help would be appreciated.  :)

S!

Try to reinstall drivers for the sound card. If it is on the motherboard as integrated, then the drivers should be on the CD supplied with the MoBo. If not then U can check the maker from DeviceManager.Got to Start->Settings->System->Device Manager.
I have also a LOT of problems with sounds after installing 1.08. They are eithere beeps or squeaks etc. or there are none whatsoever. Also they can alter in midlflight. I got info to install again drivers for the sound card, but do not want to do it EVERY time I want to fly AH...Any clues?

Go get the latest drivers even if it is an integrated card. Drivers that came with the mobo could be as much as a year old in some cases.
