Vehicles Taking Bases

I offered to fly in the troops  to bunch of ground hugging vehicle types on Friday and they were less than enthusiastic. I then ended up bombing the base just after we had captured it and then had to land on the runway I had just churned up.

How did they take the base?

Do they bring the troops in over land?

Probably. You can bring in troops either with a C-47 (like you tried), a M3 Halftrack or a LVT(A)2 amphibious tractor (spawning either like a M3 from a land base or from a CV group).
Depending on situation, bringing in troops in a M3 may be the better choice. It's sometimes faster and usually stealthier.

Yep, but you need 10 troopers in 5 Jeeps :).

I can't drive more than 10 feet without rolling a jeep.....m3's are your best bet when available in my opinion.

Hang on why five jeeps ? :confused:

I thought each would carry 3 troopers, so just four jeeps to get at least 10 to the map room. Even a couple of troopers to spare if some get shot!
BTW how long between first trooper and last do you get ?
