I just was just booted out of the LWMO. The numbers were 293/220. Why on God's green earth set the limit lower that what's already in there ???

This is really getting very annoying !:mad: Ah yes, Balance. Yet when folks show what they are interested in, I guess it does not matter

The Arena limit goes something like this: If you are in a arena that has 293 people in it and the other LW arena has a good amount of people. Then the Arena limit its something like 293/450 in the 1st arena and it will be smaller in the 2nd arena till that one fills up. Then the Arena limit changes. In your case what I think happend was you were in the arena and before you got booted the other arena had a map reset. Which boots every player out and reloads a new map. Since that happend the Arena limit drops way down in the 1st Arena to make up for not haveing any players in the 2nd Arena.

So if the other LW arena has a reset, you get booted out of the other arena??? This has happened to me several times, I'll log back in and see that the number of players in the arena are over the cap. Why does it allow others to go in over the limit and boot someone else out?

Are you sure the sytem booted you, instead of a plain old disco? HT has never said premeptive booting would happen....

It's still frustrating to not be able to get back in, but that should be a temporary problem until the reset arena fills back up.

Was having trouble getting in the LWO the other night. Population 399, cap 420, instant 'host connection lost' upon trying to enter. Heard 4 other players report the same issue. Closed the game out and ran PingPlotter, was showing packet loss on the last 2 hops. Related issues?

hubsonfire: Fixed that problem today. Hard arena limit was set to 400, but the auto limit change was going above the hard limit.

Now hard is set to 450, and it will not show above that.

No. If the LW has a reset you will not get booted out of the other arena. I belive the problem was a disco. Before the disco there was a map reset. When you come back you can't get in the arena you were in because the cap has changed in favor of the arena with less players. There was a lot of people on that night. So its really a case of bad timeing and being booted "disco" had nothing to do with the fact of the map reset.
