i heard tell that elkhorn was trying to annex another town so as to reach the population requirement needed to avoid the tangled web that is omaha.

Yeah, that was last year.

We're 2300 or so short of the 10,000 needed to be able to vote on annexation.

Sad thing.. Omaha is a town of 600,000 and our damn town hall is going to be 18 miles away.
