Wave a big enough check in front of him and he'd race a Yugo....... :lol

maybe it's boring to watch because they are such good drivers.

the nascar fans wait for "the big one" where you have a 15-20 car wreck.

Not true, Toyota has their own engine program. They are building the engines themselves. Granted it has to follow the NASCAR rule book just like any other manufacterer but it is all Toyota. From the information that I have been able to glean Toyota is going full guns on this program. IIRC the just had to modify the design of the cylinder head as the port runnner length didn't meet with NASCAR specifications.

Yeah and in F1 you don't have to wait at all the big one happens on the start.

On a real quiet night in Daytona, you can hear the Chevy's rusting.

Thats a matter of opinion... I happen to feel a lot of the Nascar Drivers are better.  But in reality, I rarely watch it anymore because I do not have the time.

F1 drivers race in the rain, nascar drivers won't go on the track if there is a heavy dew.

Absolutely wrong. The Toyota is not even close to a Chevrolet SB2.2. The Toyota most closely resembles the Chrysler engine. I have seen all of them apart.

As for old tech, the average NASCAR engine makes well over 2HP (almost 2.4) per cubic inch, with a very simple engine. They have 358 cubic inches and make in excess of 850HP.
