Initialization failed with -40 mainKB_FAILED -2

That's the error message I get when trying to start AH1.03 upgraded from the latest 1.02 using autoupdater feature. With out highres textures. The screen has white square the size of the AH resolution, then all black and then returns with this smallish dialog box with the above text. The 1.02 worked just fine.

This doesn't happen everytime and seems to be unrelated to desktop size and bit depth.

Fats, if you delete video.cfg in the settings sub-dir of the Aces High folder, it will fix this problem. YOu will have to reselect resolution, color et al but it works. I just created a DOS batch file to delete my video.cfg and I have it as a shortcut on my desktop. Click that one first, click Aces High next, reselect video settings. It's a bit of a pain but it works...
