« on: February 09, 2007, 09:49:49 AM »
i dont know if this is a simple button ive forgotten to press, but i cant find it anywhere, i have the simple problem that when i put input into my mic it is automatically outputed through my speakers/headphones

im pretty sure this isnt normal and it gets very irritating, my mic works fine in game and is nice and clear etc, its just this instant output of any input into the mic thats got me stumped, any ideas? skuzzy?

Start - Settings - Control Panel - Sounds and Devices - Advanced - Check "Mute" under Microphone.
Most of the people you meet in life are like slinkies. Pretty much useless, but still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.

Sometimes I think I have alzheimers. But then I forget about it and it's not a problem anymore.
