I have to agree with eagl on this one. I have felt that way too as long as I can remember. Part of what irks me is the fact that my hearing doesn't always let me understand the words so it ends up being just noise.

When my daughters were growing up , every once in a while they would rush in with " Daddy, Daddy you just got to listen to this song I found. It`s awesome!"
One was by Jimi. :)

I have one neighbor who has nothing to do , so she spends her time seeing how much poo she can stir up. You will see her out on the street( I use the term street loosely)  pacing up and , cell phone in hand , with them jaws in high gear.
I like to serenade her with Kid when I have the chance. :)
I make sure that the line "I`m your *@^%#@  +*&%$#@ h-e-r-o" is at proper volume. :rofl

I would have to agree with debonair on this one...   rush is not as bad as rap but it is a close thing.  I woulda just fired up my car so that you couldn't hear that crap and I didn't have to.   flowmasters from a big block is just the ticket to drown out that crap.
