one of my squadies is having a real problem in vox. If he is in anything that makes game sounds...B24, Tank, etc. there is a terrible noise that covers his transmissions. If we turn down his game sounds it goes away, along with his sounds.

We have tried muting his mike in windows XP sound settings. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

i had this trouble when my pc switched to the mic in my webcam.

is he using a boom mic  or  a headset mic? has he got a webcam with a mic?

its useualy something as simple as this check to see which mic the system is using.

 when i found out i was using my webcam mic i just changed  ot to the set up for my headset
