The redneck bit was a bit contrived... most people I've talked to think it was staged.

Very funny though. 'Hilary for President' and 'Nascar Sucks'. Hehehe.

Glad to see our American cousins are enjoying the output of the BBC. It must be weird to see quality programmes without ad breaks every 5 minutes to remind you what essentials you don't need to buy next time you go shopping. Aren't commercial channels crap?

War! Never been so much fun. War! Never been so much fun! Go to your brother, Kill him with your gun, Leave him lying in his uniform, Dying in the sun.

Here's part one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LJwX0MfFIE4

The other 6 parts are there too, but you must search for them yourselves.

Great episode!

I don't know, it was quite convincing to me. I was actually surprised that they managed to runaway from rednecks in one piece.

(Also, I do not own a working television, so I'm at liberty of getting what I want without extras)

No I think you're mixed up. Its not the time your thinking of, but the one before the one after it.

Umm, have you seen BBC America? They have more commercials per hour than the Home Shopping Channel. PBS used to be the main outlet for commercial free BBC programming, but the BBC/Lionheart has put a stop to that prefering to use BBC America for 1st run programmes and loading them with commercials. Even PBS runs commercials now, but they block them between the shows.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.

I think that was possibly the funniest episode i have seen, the way they were ramming eachother, fat stig...  the bit where they were sabotaging james may's air con had me in stitches.  Oh and "Turning right on a red light...  the only thing that America has given western society" :lol

If any americans take offence to having a bit of fun poked at them, i wouldnt watch that episode.

New Orleans was a bit of a shock, never hear about what is happening there anymore.

we can watch whatever we want in America and a lot is commercial free.  If you want.. you can record a commercial one and play it latter zipping past the commercials..  and... you won't go to jail for not paying the government a TV tax.

when I was in england the shows were crap... mostly talking heads with studmuffin accents and grown men kicking balls around in the mud.

For car shows I watch the ones where they build cars and run em on the dyno as they add new parts like cams and heads and such.   You can't really learn anything from "top gear"   it is a comedy show and not for auto enthusiasts.
