Need Help, PLEASE.
asus A7V MB
AMD 1.1 CPU
Asus Geforce2GTS 32MB w/ newest drvrs from asus
384MB ram
NEW MS Precision Pro JS w/ newest drivers
Win ME
Wireles LAN connect
Sygate firewall
During AH, on or off line & h2h, joystik loses calibration. Can recalibrate & everything is ok for 3 -5 mins. Have tried it w/o firewall, no difference in FR or operation. Been pouting most of the day, wife says I need AH fix. Any help will be most appreciated.

* Are you running the Precision pro through usb?.
* I would remove sidewinder utilities,windoze drives this joystick quite well by itself,especially usb style.

*Do you have to connect to your lan wirelessly,can you test your pc with a modem directly attached to it,rather than going throught the lan?.

*Is this a new computer/vidcard/lan setup,what has changed about your setup,i mean,has Aces run properly b4 on this box or are you trying first time on it?

Let me know i try to help,and we have many wise heads on the msg board,who will jump in soon.....

Joystik is running on thegame port.
my connect is WIRELESS only. Due to my location.
This is a new computer, although i waas running my other comp.( which is identical) w/ AH. MB crapped out. Waiting on new MB for it.Never had this much problem getting Ah tweaked w/ the other comp.Have tried reinstall on AH & drivers. I wil try uninstall on sidewinder util.

Thanx for the response on my problem. uninstalled Precision Pro drivers & installed Precision Pro 3D & the patch.
Son of agun workss great, but my JS is a Precision Pro, not hte 3D. Go figure.

HELP!

I just signed up an account with Aces High and have joystick problems. Well one problem: my throttle only goes up to 60%. When I calibrate the stick, it behaves fine both in Windows and AH's oscilloscope. I get full range of motion with AH's and Windows tests. (I also have no such problems in WarBirds or WW2OL.)

Using a Saitek Cyborg Gold 3D USB.

Any help is appreciated.

I even downloaded the latest driver for the stick....but no joy. I'm stuck at 60% throttle....WHAT IS GOING ON?

I have noticed that all of the planes show 50 to 60 percent on the manifold pressure that may be what you are referring to. Does it jump to 60 or 70 percent when you hit wep?

Yes, that's what I was going to point out. What Manifold Pressure is the plane you are flying showing at full throttle? It's the gauge that moves most when you move the throttle up and down. I believe you ARE getting full throttle.

If you advance your throttle all the way and then hit the P key (for War Emergency Power) does your throttle increase? If it does, you are getting full power setting from your throttle.

I think you may be getting confused with the MAP guage, it is not a percentage, but rather the intake manifold pressure. This will be different in each plane and you will notice that in general the reading varies with altitude.
