So you buy a house with a barn that's been abandoned for 15 years...

I'm finding out little tidbits on this.   These are in Portugal and they have been locked up since 1990 or 1991.   They cut the lock in mid-January.   Rumor is, around 180 cars are in this barn, from one of the site someone saw a Ford GT (must mean a GT40).   I cannot find more pics, but there have to be more out there.

Alot of people are thinking the original owner of the property may have been hiding them for possible tax issues?

My estimate will rise to over 6 million if there is a GT40 in the barn.    This is sick!  LeMay would be chitting himself if he were still alive.

directly behind the 69-70 Olds cutlass looks like it might be a 29-30 Ford Model A

Although that sounds plausable, some of those cars just look like daily drivers and dont seem that special, I mean a 4 door 70 olds cutlass?

I haven't seen many 4 door 1970 Cutlasses here in the states, but have seen a chitload of 2 doors.

New info:  The original property owner died and the heirs never saw this "warehouse" as it is being called, which was off of the beaten path.

yea it could be a Fury too, hard to tell from these pictures.
the other one I wouldnt guess a Nova, the slant on the roof seems wrong, I'd for more for a 66 67 Falcon maybe or even a two door dodge

If this were a "caption this" posting...I'd have to go with "Jay Leno's Garage in the year 2053"

if there was a vintage gt-40 in that wet dream ... in the shape thats there ... the price of that collection just about doubled ...

look at the paint ... pay close attention to the reds and the older 30-40's cars .... they look darn good .   but then laquer checking is hard to see in pics

yes much better, a lot of the same pics but a few new ones not seen yet.
#26 looks like another Aston Martin DB coupe, also one of the other forums i ran across said it was heard the owner bought all those cars in the 80's and is a collector and they were stored there and then the doors welded shut on purpose.

Roo, I have YET to see one in any pics.

Airscrew, I'm not sure if that is an Aston Martin at all.   Granted it sure as hell could be a DB2/4 or a DB MkIII.   But that grill is throwing me off.

I havent seen anything yet with a GT40 shape to it but I dont think all those pics covered the entire barn/garage.   I'm gonna kinda retract the Aston Martin guess on #26, now that I look at it again, the turn signal/fog lamps look to big and I think #24 might be a rear shot of #26.

Viking those two GP cars could be worth anywhere from 200,000 if just plain jane race cars to a Million a piece if they were driven by someone famous (I wouldnt know off the top of my head, Iwas more a NASCAR fan when I was a kid)  think Andy Granatilli (sp?) or Al Unsur
