eny in lw
« on: February 14, 2007, 07:56:06 AM »
i know this  subject is getting old, butthere has been alot of lopsided arenas lately. but part of the reason is the arena cap itself. went into lworange yesterday, and it was 219/220 rook had a multiplyer of .58 with arena full how was that number going to change. went to lw blue about same numbers but switched eny mult. of 1.40. I would have rather stayed there but the map was lame.but my point is if nits wanted to get into lworange to even things out they could not because of arena cap.

By either changing arena or switching sides. Don't rely on others (in this case your enemy, the knits) to solve your problem. If you are on the side with enormous numerical superiority and if you do not like it (and ENY is supposed to stimulate exactly that feeling) it's up to you to change something :aok

(I've been hit by ENY both ways and think it is basically fine. Maybe some planes ENY values have to be reconsidered, but that's another story)

Lusche that is not my point the point is there are very few doing what you just stated as the cure.and  most of the players would rather not be the underdog. i would rather be the underdog myself. but the thread was more an observation of what is happening and why it wont ever change.

I don' t think ENY was ever intended to completely "cure" numerical imbalance. It just gives an incentive to switch, but it's main function is to hurt the side with huge numerical superiority. It's just trying to prevent one country haveing both the numbers AND all the uber rides.
There will always be one dominating country at times, and it will be hit by ENY restrictions.
