Here's what the sounds of scraping metal cruising down the runway should sound like.

"What's that beeping noise?"

I love when you get the scraping sound while ditching in water.

It's the reef an inch below the surface scratching your belly. That is also why you don't sink.
Mosquito VI - twice the spitfire, four times the ENY.

Not bashing TwinBoom, but his scrape is 47 seconds long.  I never slid for 47 seconds.  And between TB's pack, Sketchworks, Rangers', Fruda's, Waffle's and countless others therer are only a few scraping noise that are available for us to use.  Small things that don't matter in a game with so much more... Once it starts it just keeps going even when your sitting still won't it?  I know the work it takes putting a sound pak together so I won't bash him on something like this...

I believe that the Cessna 172 is made mainly of fiberglass, not aluminum.  I'm not certain, however.

The 175 has an aluminum alloy skin with rivets, so I'll assume that it's older brother, the 172, does also. Safe bet, all things considered.

You'd be wrong about that Benny.  Cessna doesn't make any aircraft (including their business jets) that use carbon fiber for any major loadbearing parts.  There are fairings and wingtips on some airplanes made of fiberglass and such but not major structures.

172 is old fashioned aluminum and rivets.

Golfer did you get in trouble for forgetting to put the gear down on the 172 you are flying in the video?
