V-Base Hangers

I imagine this has been discussed before.

I was thinking it might be best to spread hangers out on a V-base, rather than having all three clustered relatively close.

It  only takes 1 heavy bomber to take out all three hangers on one pass.

Or just give them 1 hangar, so it can be taken out in 1 pass no matter where it is. At least this way MOST bombers can't take it out in 1 pass, they often need a second.

I agree with this post.  We should be able to work a bit harder for a V-base.

In fact, I would say put 2 VH's on a large field also so it is proportional with the amount of hangers on the base.

One other addition.

Please for the love of god.
When the spawn hanger is down but the others are still up.
Put the break in the hanger in front of the spawned tank.

This would keep campers out of the indestructible.

Not a bad thought, maybe for large airfield.

When the spawn hanger is down but the others are still up.
Put the break in the hanger in front of the spawned tank.

This is something that should be fixed as well.  Remember the problems they had a while ago, where if the spawn hanger was down, you would spawn on top of the hanger and roll.

Used to be if the spawn hanger was down, but others were up, you could roll out no problem.  Now if the spawn hanger is down, you have to angle youself to get out, no guarantees either.

I think at a V base the spawn should be random within the perimiter of the base. That would eliminate campers for the most part if you never know where a GV is going to spawn at. Spreading the hangers out is a good idea as well. Maybe something like a small airfield. 2 on the pad that are just far enough apart that no single drop can kill them both and an offset.

I agree (add another 3 randomly placed VH's at vehicle bases)  plus add many more ordinance bunkers and make them harder then disable anything over 40mm when the ordinance is taken out.........

Historically ground battles were about taking and  defending towns/key points yet our gv bases (& ports) are not linked to towns, or depots or bridges etc.................

Historically air fields were never (excepting barbarossa rarely)over run or captured whilst still operative they were established and de stablished behind a moving front line.........they were not linked to towns.

the V Bases need to be placed furter apart , and or more of them.

This one buff coming in and flattening them in one pass does and is getting tiresome.

Tried to defend a V Base last night in MW agains the LTARS, and buff after buff came in and kept desrtoying it in one divebombing pass after it would come up.

Made for an interesting fight none the less but, with the main hanger down the guys inside couldnt get out in time to help defend for they had to either back up or attempt to drive out at an angle.

And one more thing , since the addition of more Manned  AKK on the airfields, why cant thier be more manned AKK placed on the V Bases.

All you have to do is spot the indestructable camper from the tower, up a T-34, jump straight to the turret, spin it and fire.  If you know the range you'll usually kill him before he even knows you've spawned.  I just did it the other night.  The T-34 turret turns really fast.
