Having a hard time following this logic here.  Seems to me you've already made up your mind how you feel about it, and put this post up to see what others think (while maintaining some deniability by keeping it 'ficticious', so obviously you are not quite sure if it is ethically ok)

So you proved you weren't 'lucky' to an individual?  What exactly did you prove then....that you had someone tell you where they were so you could be there with an advantage over them?  Did this individual know you were coming, and at what alt and type of plane?

Batfink adds a good deal of poetic licesnse but I think the point is made, regarding lions and fishing and whatnot...don't get tied up in the 'if the lion could shoot back AND said stuff on private text, then it's ok type thing"

No-one can stop you from doing this, people who are determmined to do this will always have a way, ie cell phones, private texts, squads on different countries.

If you feel you must, then do it, but don't bring it to the message  boards looking for justification with some half-prettythanged maybe it happend maybe it didn't....mkay

You know, this guy has private texted me as well kindof along the same lines, certainly wasn't cordial.  Not sure what his problem is.  Even as much as guy like that probably deserves being 'griefed' (and there is no shortage of arses in this game), I'm still not going to play it like that (as indicated in this post).

what satisfaction could you get from killing an enemy that is already at a loss due to the work of his team mates?

Jeez...get over yourself.  Dweeb Hunts are nothing new to the world of flight sims and all Anton did was partake in said Dweeb Hunt.  It's a fact of life, where ever there are dweebs there shall be us to hunt you down.  

Having someone on the other side tell you the location of the Dweeb, no big deal.  It just helps narrow down the hunt.

No disrespect but bad argument BatfinkV.  Just because he knew where the "dweeb" was, doesn't mean the "dweeb" didn't have the resources to fight back, just the same as if he had run into any other opponent.

Your argument would be more analagous to one guy being alone between three enemy airfields with 3-4 guys upping from each to go after him.  That would be being "penned in" and not much of a fair fight.

If, in this case, the fight is one on one the "dweeb" is at no loss or disadvantage other than the fact he thought he could spout off on 200 and get away with it without having to prove his mettle.

Whenever I see oDALLASo and any of his squadron mates on, I will go to the area they're in if they are fighting Knights and hunt them down.  Never seen a squadron full of timid pilots and they are fun to chase down and kill.  The PMs are the dessert.

oDALLASo and about 12 others were attacking a port last week sometime and just me and a squaddie and one other knight were there. They had a CV right by it. So , We have some alt and begin trying to pick em off as the come in dodging the puffy ack as best we can.

I dive on an F6F and he is toast....Immediatley the VOX goes nuts with oDALLASo talking smack about how I am in a sissy plane....stating something to the effect of you suk and oh yeah we will be taking this port..and thanks for playing. Then he was gone.

Heak they had like 12-15 guys there agaisnt 3....LOL

I've gotten PM'ed by him with his typical crap after shppting him down.

He is a bit different to say the least.
