No, the topic was about being given info on mouthy tards and shutting them down.
Mouthing off on 200 or here,  it makes little difference.
Ohh and for the record YOU started the pissn contest here.

If a guys teammates are ratting him out there's probably a reason.

From the 'ficticious' story, I'm sure we can all figure out what it is.

He choses his plane, you chose yours.  Sounds fair to me.  Even moreso if he's running with a crew.

I took the 'ficticious' label as the intent to not name names.  That sounds honorable to me.

Doesnt matter. What does matter is what you do with that info. Personally I'd ignore it. But to each his own.

Sorry, don't do the bar scene.   The day I get "worked up over this GAME" is the day I delete my account without a "poor me" thread.    I plan on being around a while.

OMG did you see all the baby seals on the beach tonite??  landed a 7kill yak mission HOWL!

I didnt want to have the original post be to long winded so I kept it brief, but I wanted to point out that the fights I had with the guy and his friends were not easy fights. I wasnt able to RTB because they wouldnt let me, there was 2-3 of them & I just couldnt get a clean brake. I was finally able to get far enough away for a clean ditch as I ran outta fuel. Good Times:aok

landed a 7kill yak mission

Congrats, that isn't easy to do with only 120 cannon rounds from 1 gun.  I'm a yak fan myself, 7 is about my record.

As far as your fight is concerned, I guess it seems fair enough if that is what you are trying to convey.  Still seems a tad underhanded to me though...did you have an alt advantage when you came across them?  Having known where and when they were leaving from...or did you head towards them at medium alt?:noid  (once upon a time of course)

Bat, in such cases, speaking only for myself, the enjoyment is not some sort of satisfaction of having bettered the other guy in a fight. I reserve that for players I respect.

It is the pure joy of knowing how upset the guy is...I can often picture them frothing at the mouth and spewing obscenities while pounding on their desks...THAT is the source of satisfaction when the person in question is one of these obnoxious jerks who talk tons of smack but can't back it up.

Cheating?  Heck no, I call it justified retribution!  Take some of the wind out of the trash talkers.

I definately had advantage the first time I found him, and he was in a loaded Jabo. After that It was an La7 pretty much co-alt, the 3rd was a spitfire I think. I think it was such a great flight because I schoooled the mouthy lil punk, and won some tough fights doing it.

Dredger, from your posts it seems you think this happens regularly, as if it was somthing I do frequently. This simply is not the case. Just an Isolated, perhaps fabricated, situation that made for a nice lil story.

As a bonus, I think the story may enlighten some people as to possible reprocussions for repeatedly causing grief to players or to the game. "If you go around being an arse, eventually someone will need to wipe you off" This is true in RL also.
