Finding I like the Bomber Role Myself, although I my fav plane is the good ol' P-38.

Would like to find a trainer to help, I am liking the game a lot, but I find myself constantly overshooting the target and getting chewed up from my blind spots.

GREAT GAME...

and try your hand at the A20 for bombing, it can bomb and also dogfight ;)

Interesting.

I flew as a mamber of "The Damned" in Air Warrior, Air Warrior AOL, Air Warrior 2, Warbirds and Aces High.

Right before I quit flying sometime in late 2001/early 2002 the Damned were so spread out that the call was made to refer to everyone as "The Damned Air Group".

On a side note....I am a newbie again....and I'm loving it.
When we dreamed about the future, back in the days of DOS and "SVGA graphics", THIS is what we imagined and prayed for.

After the 2 week trial is up I will definitely be re-upping with a regular account.

The Damned and the damned air group in AH are 2 different things.  To my knowledge.

In FA they were pretty much the elite fighter squad from 2.5 through to 3.5.  All KOTS events dominated by them throughout the years.  Now non-existant except _Rilak_ (PTR_Rilak) who i did see briefly over the xmas period when my stick was so busted up i couldnt fly AH for 2 weeks.

If you want to read the ego inflated long winded history.

Some of the "facts" in one section didn't include some of my feats because we had a little falling out at the end  :(

Its a pretty good flight sim.

You will enjoy flying it if you don't know what the "old" days were like.  When it was in its prime.
Rock:  Ya see that Ensign, lighting the cigarette?
Powell: Yes Rock.
Rock: Well that's where I got it, he's my son.
Powell: Really Rock, well I'd like to meet him.
Rock:  No ya wouldn't.

Hail Stub!  There's still a number of The Damned (D.A.G.) flying AH as Knights. They included NB, DmdGoose, TC, Ren, DmdJJ, Torvold DmdJW, and DmdDano on occasion. Sorry if I forgot anyone. Don't know if you remember any of them but like the saying goes, "Once Damned, always Damned."

Hail Max!

I Saw Dano and a couple of others up on Sunday.

It's a challenge to get what few skills I did have back.  The Spit XVI has helped compensate my deficiencies :lol

See ya up there
