May not happen.  He's been around for awhile ( least 10 years?) now.  If they really think he might win they will pull out smears, or make some up, or maybe even ................

IMHO he either doesn't think he will even come close, OR he's got some REAL GUTS!
It's been said we have three brains, one cobbled on top of the next. The stem is first, the reptilian brain; then the mammalian cerebellum; finally the over developed cerebral cortex.  They don't work together in awfully good harmony - hence ax murders, mobs, and socialism.

I think Jimmy Carter should be re-elected.
He paved the way in foreign policy, especially with iran, iraq, and the middle east in general.
He handled communism and the cold war with russia, outstandingly.
He's a democrat, and they are the best.
He actually helped to create the way alot of modern democrats deal with most problems today. He's a great man, and a true hero!

If you don't believe me, just do a quick google search. Type in "Jimmy Carter and the shah".

Yay for Jimmy Carter.
I guess if Jimmy doesn't run, then i'll have to vote for Hillary or Obama since they are the the descendants of the Jimmy way of life.

Go Dems!!!!

Ted Nugent isn't as smart or as clever as most people think he is.  While I think the guy is interesting, I don't believe he is capable of leading anything.

Not true! He has proven himself quite capable of leading a rock band!:D :noid

Frank Zappa for prez! Too bad they can't keep someones head alive in a jar like in Futurama. I'd vote for Franks head over any of the current crop of politicos.

I know a VP presides the Senate, but in practice, how much does he need leadership qualities, relative to other political positions?

I personally would say that Bush is way smarter then Nugent.  Just like me, Bush is a poor public speaker.  Just because he isn't great at speaking doesn't mean he's dumb.

However, The Nuge just seems to repeat the same things over and over and seems like he has trouble forming thoughts.  But that's only when I see him speaking about a certain issue and answering questions.

Ted Nugent, Rock star and avid Bowhunter was being interviewed by a French journalist and the discussion came around to deer hunting. The journalist asked, "What do you think is the last thought in the head of a deer before you shoot him? Is it, "Are you my friend?" or is it "Are you the one who killed my brother?'"

Nugent replied, "Deer aren't capable of that kind of thinking. All they care about is, "What am I going to eat next, who am I going to screw next, and can I run fast enough to get away. They are very much like the French."

Score one for the Nuge.
