Anyone else have this?

It's ok... i really don't find any of the factions apart from England interesting.

Egypt is no longer fun compared to Rome Total War.  I hate the Scots, hate the French, hate the Turks...

Just didnt grab me and make me want to play it like RTW. :(

With all the bugs I've found it all but unplayable. The makers are terrible at releasing a game that has obvious and glaring problems. They're really starting to disappoint me. I'm sticking with RTW till they get it all hammered out.

There was a bug where an opposing army would stand there and let you decimate them with missile weapons.
I forgot where i got it, but i downloaded a patch that makes the opposing army attack now.

Edit: Has anyone played multiplayer yet?

I've been meaning to, but heard that you open your computer up to possible viruses by doing so. Is that possible or true?

I like Poland and England. Meaning to try Denmark soon. There is supposed to be a 2nd patch out this month that fixes the 2Handed weapons not working right and other assorted bugs.

Many times calvary will pull up short when charging and then they just waddle into the enemy. Same with infantry, only the 1st line of men will engage while the rest  kind of string out behind them. Also many of the 2 handed infantry units are fudged up. I forget the exact problem but it's something to the effect that they don't have any defense rating. To look some of them up just go to the total war forums and search for the word "MTW 2 bugs". There's a good amount of them and some are pretty bad, IMO bad enough that they should have been fixed before the game was released.

Loved the game. Played as the French, way more challenging than playing with the Brits. It's due to France being neighbor with so many countries, you are fighting more than one enemy at once.

I loved the graphics/sounds, I have a cool collection of screenshots.

I stoped at the cleansing of the Aztecs, lost interest after owning most of Europe... for now.

Did ya at least get the speed bumps installed in Paris in preparation for 1940?

I love the whole Total War series ever since the Shogun Total War.

Figure there will be an expansion soon to open up the rest of the factions in Medieval Total War II before long, which I'm looking forward to.

Bugs have been pretty few and far between in most of the games from the series I've played.  Certainly not anywhere as buggy as many games that are released these days, which resemble paying to Beta Test a product often enough.
