Yes but I still don't know why the difference in prices of the above two, prices the same day. By the time I find the answer the gear I want to buy will be outdated!

I can't really tell you the difference but I have never been one to skimp on RAM or PSU's.  I originally was going to go for Skuzzy's choice of Cucial Ballistic but they were out of stock even direct from Crucial.  Then I settled on Geil but it went out of stock at Newegg before I could pull the trigger. DDR2 was scarce after Conroe release.  the Gskill got good reviews so I pushed the button before it disappeared, too.
