A day in the life of a field gunner
« on: February 26, 2007, 03:48:49 PM »
So there I was, sitting in a manned ack trying to hold off bish GV's on a V-base me and my squaddies just took. And I notice a squadie was fighting a 38, but the 38 was nowhere near me. So I ignored him, then he saw my manned ack and dove in to try to strafe me.

Fortunately, my I popped him with a 37mm in the wing and he goes down. Upon his death I receive interesting PM's. They are as follows.

Nice psychological training - blame everybody for anything!

And this is not the worst case, my wife, daughter and especially cat hate see me dying. Kitty is always guilty if she is on the distance of my boot :)

you know, as ridiculous as the community can be, it still shows a lot of good that people are classy enough to blur out the name even of an undeserving dolt offender.

also I love the fact that the offender doesnt call him a cable yanking cheater, just tells him to RELOG, implying that he unknowingly has a bad connection. and he calls him a jerk. for having a bad connection.

Ah, you're right, it was knights. My bad, was attacking a bish Vbase not ten minutes before that. Will edit my previous post. Err, won't let me now. But it was in fact a knight vbase.
