Sounds thoroughly right to me.
That kindergarten was heavenly in a lot of ways. The recess yard actually had a number of fruit trees.. Apples and oranges we could pick at will, but there were also small crops in a dedicated area.
e.g. we got to eat fresh tomatoes off those plants in reward for good grades... the cafeteria made some truly tasty plates... probably the best mashed potatoe fries (miniature animals) I've ever had (even accounting for nostalgic bias), the PE classes were always a lot of fun and tiring to the max... lots of tactical teamplay.
We got to fight without any teachers interrupting us unless it got too uneven or messy... jumping the wall to the other section, to defend my little brother from bullying was never punished...
I aced everything, and didn't even regret putting up with the only downs - 1 racist wench of a teacher, and another one that was just elitist and favorizing, he'd hang you by the collar on the walls' jacket hooks, or give me **** for acing his assignments..
e.g. He'd have us write his lecturing, to practice orthography and grammar. Those that admitted wanting hints, he had come up to his desk, where the proof was, and ask which word they most suspect they got wrong.
He'd hid the word under his hand and send you back to your desk..
I raised my hand, and once at his desk, lied
But about the shagging... if you think that was bad.. you oughta seen what happened outside of school
If there was a reason to have my kids grow up in france, this would be one.
