Was actually taken not long after his alcohol and drug recovery in 1986 - 87.  He wore that hat for a while soon after that, but not much before he died.  So I would date that pic '87-'88 time period, a couple years before he died.

Sounds thoroughly right to me.
That kindergarten was heavenly in a lot of ways.  The recess yard actually had a number of fruit trees.. Apples and oranges we could pick at will, but there were also small crops in a dedicated area.
e.g. we got to eat fresh tomatoes off those plants in reward for good grades... the cafeteria made some truly tasty plates... probably the best mashed potatoe fries (miniature animals) I've ever had (even accounting for nostalgic bias), the PE classes were always a lot of fun and tiring to the max... lots of tactical teamplay.
We got to fight without any teachers interrupting us unless it got too uneven or messy... jumping the wall to the other section, to defend my little brother from bullying was never punished...

I aced everything, and didn't even regret putting up with the only downs - 1 racist wench of a teacher, and another one that was just elitist and favorizing, he'd hang you by the collar on the walls' jacket hooks, or give me **** for acing his assignments..
e.g. He'd have us write his lecturing, to practice orthography and grammar.  Those that admitted wanting hints, he had come up to his desk, where the proof was, and ask which word they most suspect they got wrong.
He'd hid the word under his hand and send you back to your desk..
I raised my hand, and once at his desk, lied :D

But about the shagging... if you think that was bad.. you oughta seen what happened outside of school :lol
If there was a reason to have my kids grow up in france, this would be one.

no harm, no foul.. it's not like we got adults' permission.
It's not like we imitated anyone or anything either.  We just did what we felt like.

As a matter of fact, one girl's parents did get mad once, but, herself, she didn't regret anything.  It didn't change anything for us.
Specificaly, there was no actual vanilla intercourse, but there was a lot of experimenting and discovering.  We were just kids.
Love was in the air.

I didn't ask anyone to agree with me though the laws around this way are getting out of hand. No law can do this unless it is passed and all this is a part of Measure 11 which the folks around here voted to have and now when it is (over) enforced they realize what it is they have done to themselves.

The two girls who made the claims against the boys - like I said - without a lawyer, parent or female officer present have come out and stated that they were pressured into making those statements (big surprise). The boys are now out of juvenile hall but still have a court date or 4 to look forward to.

ya man if i had to go to jail for 10 years id throw that BS all over the news so the whole US would know about it. then my dad would hunt down these morons and beat the living #### out of these people.

you know what i dont freaking get. why its always the boys fault. the girl smacked his but too. so wouldn't she be a "sex offender" this whole story is BS. i think the way society thinks about sex offenders at such a yound age as 12 and 13 is total BS. i mean if it was a 30 year old guy doing it to a 13 year old girl then maybe.

i have another thing. what if the 2 girls they interviewed thought the 2 boys were annoying. they could easily make a up a simple lie that the boys touched them. also what if the boys shoulder accidentally bummped the girl and it hit here breast. the girl could simply make up a lie and it would be all the boys fault. see its BS becuase if that girl would have hit that kid in a private part she would have got a "talk" and then maybe a detition or something. but i dont know these liberals need to be shot.
