Salute  to my squads is long over due. When things are tough and our bases are getting hit you never resort to dweeb planes or perk planes to defend but up in our spit8 or 9's or ponies unless ENY dictates otherwise and defend to the last man. That is rare in this game when other countries have to fly LA7's 163's and 262's to stop us and I just want to say great job and I am proud of you all.:D

Spit 8 isn't a dweeb plane. Spit 16 and 14 are dweeb rides with 50's and cannons. Spit 8's are no worse that Niki's or Ponies boys and if we're killing ya in those then cool. But Salute to those who defend with ENY planes more than 5 ENY. You guys and ladies ar real pilots.

sounds like one of those Budwiser beer commericals,

Anouncer: "Here's to you, Mr. Virtual cartoon plane pilet..."
Singers: "Mr Virtual Cartoon Pilot"....
Anouncer: "When things are tough and your bases are getting hit you never resort to dweeb planes or perk planes but up in your manly spit8 or 9's or ponies and defend your cartoon territory to the last man."
Singers: "dont fly no dweeb planes"....
Anouncer: "It is indeed a rare sight in this game when other cartoon countries resort to overmodel, overgunned, uber dweeb rides like the La7s and 262s"
Singers: "Overmodel uber Dweebs"
Anouncer: "that nothing will stop you and we at Budwiser just want to say,....this buds for you"......

Fly what you like.  Personally, I've been avoiding any plane with an ENY under 15 lately, unless in a mission, or upping an occasional perk-ride.

I'm not that great a fighter pilot (better buff driver), but I earn enough in the high ENY rides to pay for the occasional 262 or Tempest.

Simple math:  Your plane's ENY / Other guy's ENY = points earned.  This is further modified by the perk point bonus, so I've been avoiding whichever country has a horde going in an arena.

15/5 = 3 points for me if I win.   5/15 = .34 points if I lose.
Keep flying those ENY 5 planes boyz and girlz.  I'll take the points.  More fun flying less used planes anyways.  And challenging.

So,
No N1K2, but I'll take a Ki-84
No La-7, but I'll take an La-5
No Pony-D, but I'll take a Pony-B
No Spit 14, 16, or 8, but I'll try a 5 or 9 occasionally
No P47N's, but I'll take other JUGs

A lot of other nice rides with ENY's of 20 or more.

Side note while the Mk XIV is a monster.
It takes much more than "yank-n-bank" to get the most out of it.

IMHO the hardest cannon spit to master.

:rofl   this from the guy who told me I can only get kills in dweeb rides cuz I shot down his lancs in a 262. :rofl

I am sorry for killing your lanc, that were <5k within 2 sectors of red dar bars going to a single base, with a 262.

:rofl

"we fly spits and ponies"  :rofl thanks for good laugh this morning.:aok
