How to make Aces High Xfire compatible
Ever get Xfired in the middle of a dogfight? Isn't it annoying how you don't know who it is or what they are saying? How awfully bothersome it is when you have to minimize Aces High just to respond to the message!
Well I have taken it upon myself to make Aces High compatible with Xfire, this way messages will appear in the bottom right portion of your game, and if you should so desire to reply you will be able to use the scroll lock + X feature to reply to messages IN GAME.
Achtung! This assumes that you have installed Xfire and Aces High in the default directories!
1.) First, download this ------>
http://www.freewebs.com/yoshimbo/xfire_games.ini2.) Once this file has been downloaded, move it here--> C:\Program Files\Xfire
If it asks that you want to overwrite, click Yes.
3.) Now, open up Xfire, if it is already open then restart it.
4.) At the top of Xfire click "Tools", and then "Options"
5.) Now at the top of the "Options" window you should see a tab called "Games" click it.
6.) It will detect all of your installed games, this may take a few minutes.
7.) Once it is finished detecting all the games, you should a list of all installed games, underneath that list will be an arrow to show all of your "Not Intalled Games" click on it.
8.) A new long list should appear of all games "Not Installed', find Aces High.
9.) Once you have found it select it and to the right you should see a button to "Browse" click on it.
10.) That should bring up a window for you to browse in, now all you need to do is find the folder that aceshigh.exe is in, by default it is: C:\Program Files\HTC\Aces High II
11.) After you select the "Aces High II' folder click "Apply" and then "Ok" at the bottom.

THERE WILL BE NO ACES HIGH ICON
I am taking steps to correct this, but atleast you won't have to minimize Aces High to respond to messages and you can read them whilst in game.
As a H2H "freeloader" I thought i should give something back to the Aces High community, for the all the fun and good fights they have given me.
