The bomb guys are there because the air to air guys are usually not, otherwise they would get cut to ribbons and would not want to play in that sandbox anymore. Too hard on their egos.
No I'm saying if they are getting bombed then it's in their best interest to keep moving or go pork the ords on the sounding base. For just about every attack in this game there is a counter attack.
Personally I think I could could count the number of times I've been bombed by a plane while in a GV on one hand, but then again I rarely ever sit in one place camping.
I've actually had my engine shot out by planes strafing me, more than I've been bombed by planes. As long as you are a moving target and watching the world around you it's fairly easy to avoid most bombs.
While I agree it's lame to go carpet bomb a bunch of GV's at TT, but if it's happening, then they do have the tools to stop it. If I'm trying to save a base that's getting pounded by bombs, I'll do my best to pork their ords. Why is it guys at TT can't do the same? That or they could simply keep moving. If they know it's the bish or who ever that always bombs TT, then the other two teams should make it a point to go pork their ords.
While I do understand that not everyone camps in a GV, but it is a fact that's the way most of them play at TT. So IMO a sitting target is a easy target and some noob or someone who is sick of getting spawn camped is going to come bomb them.
I have nothing really aginst guys who want to sit and camp at TT, to each their own, but I just get tired of hearing people complain about this or that at TT when in fact most of the times they have the ability to stop the issue.
How hard is it to put together a quick mission to go pork some ords? How hard is it to defend your base if it's being attacked?
