I'm in the Late War MA a lot and the ack seems to take somthing important with it's first shot. My squadies have been having the same problem as well. Usually on the first pass the ack gives me an oil leak, PW, rudder, you name it the ack has hit it on the first pass. It seems the better the aircraft the easier it is for the ack to hit (spit, tiff, P51 etc.).
Now if i remember correctly, HTC added the ack in town to stop GVers. I can understand that but why add all the ack on the base? If people are dumb enough to up at a vulched base thats their problem. The ack is just way to strong and way to lethal. I heard that the ack's lethality is 2.5. And like i said; If people up at a vulched base thats their problem. They can go to another base to another fight, or fly in with alt and pick everyone trying to vulch and I'm sure someones going to say; "Well get more then 1 person de-acking." and there's about 5-6 of us doing it at the same time but it's hard when the acks are that lethal (2.5) and that strong. We normally get an oil leak or a PW so it's hard to see the ack let alone not taking more damage. Yesterday I was in a 109-G14 and the ack took my vertical stabilizer off on the first pass. I think it's bull that there's that much ack at a base to stop a few people from crying about it.
