Veyron's are amazing to look at.

Veyron vs. R1

This is even more amazing.   The Porsche Carrera GT near the end is fun to watch as well.

hehe lets get that in perspective

veyron 1000bhp
r1 (if its the latest 07 model) 162.2bhp

veyron 253mph
r1 187.8mph

i would be interested in seeing a veyron vs a a motogp 1000cc bike (last year regulations) say a fireblade, pushing around 250bhp

still, 1000bhp through 4 wheels will always be quicker than 250 through one :P

sorry, but being as big bike fan i cant resist these comparisons, but then bang for buck, id know which one my wallet would prefer :rofl

sorry, maybe slightly off topic, but like i said :) then if my daddy was throwing money at me, why not
:aok

I think the MGP bikes were hitting ~330kph/200mph on the fastest straights, last season.   I'd guess they would top out around 230mph, in 'present' form, with different gearing.

The Fireblade's a production bike.

Aw man, the only thing about totalling a Veyron that could make me smile is if Clarkson was at the wheel... That or a thread about how the U.K. is going to ban cars for the safety of its citizens.

Considering how Clarkson is one of the most vocal opponents of the nannyification in the UK, especially as pertains to driving, your message seems a bit confusing.

You realize, of course, that after the jet car crash, the BBC came to him and talked about toning down the show and he basically gave them the finger, right?

So, again, why do you link Clarkson and nannyification?  That's like blasting Chuck Heston for trying to get anti-gun legislature passed.

LOL, the Clarkson comment was just a matter of personal opinion, I have never really cared for the guy.  The other thing was more alluding to the closed "ban the swords" thread among others.  In no way were the two statements meant to go hand in hand.
