How to change the GameID....

Hi all,

I'm coming to Aces High after 5 years of flying Air Warrior, where many people knew me as "Grandpa" Gerd.
When I tried to use one of these names, I was informed, that both ID's are in use.
If I remember right,  I used one of this names to register to the forum.
May forum-usernames and gameIDs conflict ?

Can someone from Hightechcreations help me ?
I would like to fly with my old Air Warrior CPID, if no other player has it in use.

(Sorry.I know, my english is ...uuuuhhhhmmmm...noisy :-))

Game ID's and forum ID's have nothing to do with one another at all.  If you have used the game ID before, the best way to get it back is to call HTC on the phone and ask them to restore it for you.

You mean me ?!? Me call the on the phone ?!?
I think my english is too bad to talk to someone there :-)
You ever tried to talk german to a bavarian ?
 

Hmmm....will search for a HTC email adress and try my luck there.

what he meant was that, if you've had an
account in AcesHigh before, HTC will be
able to give your old GameID back. But,
if you want your AW GameID here in AH,
and it's already occupied, then it's a
no can do asfaik...

I recently changed my GameID to my old one
that I had first time I registered to
AH. (I'm on my third time now, but this time
I'm staying for good, I hope). It was fairly
simple. I sent an email to HTC, and they
replied within the same week saying that
I will loose all my perks and any points
aquired... But, since I had just registered
there was no loss there... so... yeah...
simple... =)
