What I find disturbing is the statue of Zippy on a college campus. Which Zippy is that anyway? It doesn't look like Zippy the Pinhead.

The University of Akron’s mascot is “Zippy the Kangaroo”. The teams are known as the “Zips”. “Fear the Roo” is their slogan. I don’t know why an Ohio city has an Australian animal for its mascot; I’m sure that there must be some conspiracy theory behind it though.
