Beat Mixing

So yeah I like to beat box a little n such and my freinds and I used to make some beats on a few flash programs, but I wanted to know if anyone knew of any good programs for the pc that I could make cool techno beats on or mabey back beats for songs n such. Any help is much appreciated.

Acid Pro and Fruity Loops are both relatively cheap as far as that kind of thing goes if you are actually gonna pay for it (Arrrrrrrrrgh Mateyssssssss!)  Then there are programs like Reason and Cubase which are far more expensive and complicated.  Plenty of others as well, cant really remember em all right now but if I think of any others I'll let ya know.

 Ummmmmm.......nearly too good to pass up............BUT........the Skuzzification factor persuades me otherwise.
