[this is not a wish, this is a concern.]

When are we be getting new maps? We have had these small & some ‘landlocked’ maps for some time now & I was just wondering if we will be seeing any of the Old or New/big maps soon? *shrug*

The sad thing is I’m beginning to forget what the old maps were?!?!?! It just seems that every time I log on it’s either Indi Isles, Pizza, Mid Mesa, that ‘S’ shaped water way map (not sure the name of that one!)… I don’t know… it’s just getting Old.

I believe that I’m not the only one feeling this way.

Some new maps would be nice...

I like TT maps as I enjoy the ground action but I havent seen the old fighter town map with the lake in the middle in very long time..

That was always fun also I think it was 3- 7K airbases...

CT is taking up alot of time at HT I assume so when this comes out and the bugs get worked out I believe ole HT will put together some newer maps...

I don't think we will ever see the big maps again. With the caps on the arenas they won't let the caps get high enough to populate them. They where trying a few things to try and control which bases were capturable at a given time to avoid the "land grab" of bases that couldn't be protected due to the lower numbers, but most people avoided the arena with those set-ups in it so they never got it to work well for lack of testers.

So we are stuck with the few maps we have. Of all the maps that they have had in AH, I think most of them have been made by customers. I think HTC did the first few, and the beta, but I think the rest were done by customers.

I wish I had the time to put into building maps.

agreed, maps are getting very old. very frustrating.

I still think we could have big maps… really what affect does it have if we have big maps… if you still have a cap or not you can still use it.

I’m afraid I am beginning to forget what most of those maps looked like :|

Does anyone have pix/screenshots of the old maps??

Big maps would allow/promote milkrunning worse than what we see now.

It can't get "worse". With the arena split, milkrunning has already become much easier than ever before. Regardless of time of day, I can always find a little spot in one or several arenas where I can milkrun 'till I will fall asleep.

He who want's to milkrun can do it now unhampered and does not need the bigger maps for that.

Saying that big maps would allow milk running is not as true as it is for the Early War Arena (Green) & or Mid War Arena (Purple)… plenty of mooooing during the early & late hours of the day in those two arenas to get a better score & more perkies.

My opinion is that the split arena’s made milk running even worse.
