Well....something is weird with damage modelling in AH.

Those hits should have finished and stopped that Tiger.

6-7 direct or close hits with 250 lbs are not the "Nothing"

IRL, even one such of a close hit with 250 lbs would have detracked the Tiger easily.

As a "small snack" , 250 lbs of explosives is a huge amount of devastating power. IRL

I have physically hit a Tiger with a 500lb bomb (got the hit sprite) and gotten nothing for it. The other 500lber dropped with it exploded next to the Tiger.

I got bombed, in the last 2 days around 5 times in my tiger 3 where r3dhawk with NOE lancs, another guy with buffs and I for get what the other guy was in....
Ya it sucks....... don't like loosing perks....

Lesson of the day........ Don't spawn camp people don't like it hehe

2 well placed 100kg bombs should kill a Tiger, if not the actual vehicle then certainly those contained there-in.

440lbs of explosive dropping on someones head does nasty crap no matter how much armour you're sat in.

Like Tinman said, two well placed bombs 'should' take out any GV in the game. One egg with 220lbs of explosives would do the trick, let alone two of them pickled right on top of the guy. Even the smaller eggs from the IL2 should be able to track it if dropped close enough.

(Here comes all the non-believers on ordnance...)

Ive had 1000's from me p47 not kill tigers within what had to be 30 yds. but then, sometimes you get em and you go "niccccce.. blast radius!"

And BTW Zuum...........Miitaa Kuuluu!!!!!!!!!!

I've taken out Tigers and gotten killed by an apple falling from a tree and turned over on a a potato chip....

I've hit Tigers in a Panzer 12 times and got JACK but killed with one ping from them....

I rarely take out GV's and thats why my score suxx.

gv model is less than perfect..thats why there just for fun in tt..if u take it serious your gonna be one mad camper..hehe nice pun by me

btw ive sat in a crater for 45 minutes while literally tens of thousands of eggs have fallen on/near me and not takin damage.....and i also have been killed by an m3..so there ya have it

I always hit a Tigers with 2 1000 pounders. Sometimes I get the kill, other times not. I wont go after one without at least 2000 pounds though.

On the other hand I've sat at a base in a Tiger taking dozens of bombs without going down. Scorched earth all around me. Finally someone gets that lucky hit and I'm gone.

Tigers are tough.

If you get the chance read the book "Up Front" by Bill Mauldin

He tells of an account IRL there of two tank destroyers firing on and hitting a tiger multiple timeswith no effect
The Tiger on the other hand just wheeled its turret around and destroyed each with one shot each.

That being said. I sometimes find the modeling frustrating as well
Even moreso when Im in one
Hell I had my Tiger killed by an M3 once
