Yeah yeah,

I did not use the utility because APDrone told me that fighters Inc is listed on Axis, but are actually Allied for this frame.. So to avoid accidentally revealing our new super spaceship plane, I manually sent the emails.

I do enjoy you guys. I read the Squad Ops forum daily and it often brings a smile to my face. :)

Then again I read other threads and I can only shake my head. :huh

As we rearmed the order came in from Berlin,,,,, airmarshall  JB42 has ordered us to smack leningrad and defend helsinki.  So we had most of the squad left(lost some on rearm due to excesive strain on the prop, when used as a brake on the runway.)
we grabbed our passports and cocktails and heded for leningrad.

Alas we get to leningrad(finally it only took 3 frames to get there)
no enemy contacts, suprised I call the squad in to hit leningrad.
We bomb it then straffe it, instructing the squad to use half there ammo.
Saving half for helsinki, as I call for us to depart leningrad and form up for helsiniki. Just then five la's come in, they on some squaddies so I instruct to take them down as there were only five and we had alot of us there.

Then it happened again........the five became ten and then ten became twenty and so on.........La city they were everywhere, if I see an La5 again it will be too soon.  Jumped by 40 la5's in frame one and another horde in frame three.

My therapist tells me that with a few dozen more sessions, the la5 nightmares should stop.

A memorable Squad Ops when Skernsk was the Admin CM. A year or so ago I would guess. I think out of my 20 or so squadies only 2 or 3 of us made it out alive. The sky was full of LA5's and broken flaming aircraft wreckage.

You do know my medical no longer covers trips to the therapist.

Can only afford to go to cartoon group therapy now, and talk about
a nightmare way to handle this. The others in my group think they have it sooo much worse, and don't get me started on the Halo and everquest players in group,  waaa this and wawa that.

so thanks for bringing up these great memories:aok

Actually that was a really fun FSO.  As a fan of the La5 I vote we do it all again.:aok
I get really really tired of selective realism disguised as a desire to make bombers easier to kill.
