I've seen a couple. One was on the freeway in town and I responded to it to assist with traffic control. DPS handles the freeway collisions.

It was a early 80's Buick. The driver (blonde female) was attempting to drive and apply makeup or some other task. She started to drift off the road to the left, over corrected then hit a light post on the right side of the freeway. The impact was just behind the pillar between the front and rear doors. It peeled the car around so the front and back ends were side by side.. She just had bruises from the seat belt and a few minor lacerations from flying glass. Increadible.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

we had one about 3 years ago,  older Volvo (85?) headon with a 2002 Chevy Silverado.   middle of the day, Chevy westbound on 21 headed to San Marcus (college kids heading back to sckool after springbreak) passing on the shoulder, passing in no passing zones.  Volvo east bound headed to Bastrop, woman about in her 30's.   Chevy passes a semi on a curve, no passing zone, estimated i think 75mph, headons the Volvo estimated 65 mph.  The impact spins the Chevy truck around to face east, tears up the front end, 3 guys in the truck fine.  The volvo gets spun and thrown across the road to the west bound side ditch, split in two.  the woman dies at the scene smashed into the steering wheel when the seat anchors/bolts give out during the collision.

saw one like that - sedan full of 6 senior citizens - probably all jabbering at once and distracting the driver who went the wrong way on a major highway.  they hit a cement mixer almost head on and a secondary impact on a concrete telephone pole.  all were killed and all were ejected but for some body parts.  the surreal thing about it was seeing false teeth all over the road.  most had blood and goo on them, so they looked like real teeth laying around
