Hummm... I'm happy but abit worried. I wonder what sort of crowd this will bring in?

The good point is that now some great folks who just couldnt see the justice in footing 30.00 amonth will now be able to join.

I hear the death toll of AW3...

Of course, I only see what he posts here and what he does in the MA.  I know virtually nothing about the man.  I think its important for people to realize that we don't really know squat about each other.... definately not enough to use words like "hate".

We definitely want people to know about it, but I ask that everybody who disseminates this information does so by appropriate and respectful means.  We have a great community here, but a lot of people think the opposite because of outside interactions of a few.  That is wrong.

WooHoo!!!  Thanks HTC!

It's interesting, when the open beta ended I didn't start up an account, mainly for three reasons.

1.  The red enemy icons.  In fact, I quit playing AH before the beta ended, mainly because of the red enemy icons.

2.  The price.  I still enjoyed AW back then, so $10 was a bargain compared to $30.

3.  AW had scenarios, AH didn't.

Several months ago, I came to terms with all three of these issues, and started to enjoy AH anyway.

Now, in these (7?) months (since I started playing again), all three of these issues have since been resolved--icon color is now adjustable, Tour of Dutys are starting up, and now the great new price!

WTG HTC (and the events team)!

I have several friends woh are good sticks with a lot of AW time (but rather cheap)who will have no excuse but to give AH a good try.

Frankly, as far as the maturity issue is concerned, the community has the power to set an acceptable tone -- for example, .squelch (massively, instead of arguing with these Dorks and making it worse)when certain people begin being disruptive. If the community can't handle it, then AH can take a more agressive tone with people who cause constant problems. I'm more Libertarian than not, but this is a public area and personal rights like free expression come with responsibilities like civility and manners. At least that's how I was raised.
