What was the exact model?  Precision Pro something ?
Everyone recommended it.. it was discontinued and sought on eBay.

Sidewinder Precision Pro (also Precision Pro 2's out there, I think just as good).

Prec 2's are USB

Prec Pro's shipped with a usb adapter but had a gameport connect.

Pro's have a disk shaped throttle on the base.

2's have a lever type throttle

Wife still finding Pro's in the 2nd hand stores cheap, in very good condition.

I'll trade a pair of em for a Prec 2 Stick in equal condition.

I was asking for someone looking to get into flight sims.
His budget is under 40£.. he's looking at Thrustmaster sticks.
As far as I can remember, those TMs are not that great.
He's set on those, for some reason, so I just thought I'd recommend he try out these MS sticks if he got a chance to.
