Been taking Bostons to CV hunting lately. Well, they have a light bombload, but good ROC and very nice speed add up, and I made many hits! Takes half the time of a heavy bomber to get to target, bomb at 300 mph! Make 2 missions instead of one.
Bostons are cool!
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)
