A Big <S> to VonHoltz
« on: March 17, 2007, 08:03:38 AM »
Yesterday from time to time VonHoltz was losing UDP and warping. During a good fight the warping started again. When I realized what was happening I broke off and fully expected to die. To my surprise VonHoltz broke off his attack at about the same time and we quickly had 3k distance between us.

This is someone who realizes connections matter, respects the game and respects his opponent. For that, this man deserves a BIG

I fly MWA primarily and VonHoltz is usually there.

He is a great fight and a class act win or lose.

Apparently, one in five people in the world are Chinese. And there are five people in my family, so it must be one of them. It's either my mum or my dad. Or my older brother, Colin. Or my younger brother, Ho-Chan-Chu. But I think it's Colin. - Tim Vine.

Von was the opponent in the best 1-on-1 I've ever had. Back when it was just 1 MA met him at 17K, me in a Tony, him in his P-38J. 20 minutes or so later we were on the deck, still fighting it out, when he finally pilot wounded me and I baled. Still have the film somewhere, was a great fight.

Just wish he'd return a once in a while...
Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.

He owned me a few days ago. I was in my A8 and he was in a P38 of some kind. Managed to ping him and hold him off for a few mins but he was just too good.

Von :)
