Suspension of Account
« on: October 10, 2000, 07:37:00 AM »
I can't find this anywhere, so I'm going to post it here.
Is there a way to suspend an account for a month or two without losing you're ID?
During the summer months, I'd like to temporarily suspend my account, but I've already lost my original ID because I cancelled my account and recreated a new one several times.

Thanks,

RBNN

HTC's policy is not to put accounts on hold. The only way to stop paying for a subscription is to delete your account. You may do that from the admin section on the clipboard.

Please keep in mind that when you delete your account, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to obtain the same handle if you should re-subscribe in the future.

If you have any other questions, please e-mail billing@hitechcreations.com

Are you sure you are emailing the same folks that I do?  I get very fast response from these folks with no hassles.

I've had nothing but fast and prompt service from HTC.

I'm hoping this is just a silly troll.  It doesn't sound valid to me.

Ronni,
Could you please tell me the procedure to follow to get a handle back.  I tried to quit AH awhile ago and canceled my sub.  But, just like any addiction, I couldn't stay away long.

Any way to suspend an account today, or it's still "lose everything you paid for or pay us" ?

Rgr.

Suspending an account should be an option : long term customers who might not be able to pay for one month or two because they lack money, are out of home or are in hospital for weeks are just told to "pay and thats all" or they lose every step they made while paying,or there is a way to email and have an hope for a possibility ?

Same policy.

Why don't you try emailing directly and explaining your situation directly, maybe they can do you a favor.

This was a creepy thread to read, it seems like the op was either a troll or someone who feels overly entitled. "Attorney General" ? Yeah sure bucko.

Obviously a troll or just another example of how any moron can operate BBS software.

As of 10:30 CST there were 19 players logged in on ALL of Warbirds' arenas.  That seems to say that Warbirds charges more for way less.

As all of us know, a quick phone call or email to the HTC front office will net instant (and always friendly in my experience) results.

We now return you to your own personal realities...

  So I did!  But I meant every word of it.  Especially the part about morons and BBS software!

I'm going back to bed now.   :bolt:
