Anyone have any idea when the powers that be will fix the USB support under Win 2K?

Thanks

Well, turns out that it's this week. Check the news.

BUT... the Saitek Gaming Extensions don't work under Win2k. You would have to program your stick from within AH, and that means you will be extremely limited (some functions will only work if programmed through SGE).

Saitek has reported they are working on it though, but did not give an ETO.

THanks for the reply! Actually Pyro was nice enough to send me an email the other day stating just that. I'm aware of the Saitek limitations, but at least I can fly!! Saitek support tells me the ne SGE for Win2K is forthcoming, so I can only hope its soon..

According to Ron Hunt of the Unofficial Saitek Help Center, Saitek told him past November that the support for Win2k was due at the beginning of the year, but you know how things are with computer software... they can't all be reliable as HTC.

Bought Saitek X35 + X36 HOTAS

Although the stick and trottles are working offline, I was NEVER able to play any flight sim online.

Saitek HOTAS went on the WC (toilet, not Wing Commander!) and now I am back to MS Precision Pro, still working perfectly!

What in the world are you talking about? The X36 works fine online in every sim I have.

Just a note that I posted in the Hardware forum about "Windows 2000 vs Saitek X36 USB".

BTW my X36 USB works fine with AH and WarBirds here.
