I am herby giving my vote to the A26, and opening a forum to discus the merit/short sitedness of this action,,

Wartime use limited to a few squadrons at the very end of the war in Europe from November 44 to the end. No Allied use. Extremely limited use in the Pacific, limited to one Group from July 45 to the end.

If the goal is for MA Latewar use only then it makes sense, but it's scenario use or special events use is also extremely limited.

It would probably put the Mossie, B26 and A20 in the hanger.

A20G is a much more suitable aircraft that fills all the roles the A26 did at the end, and with the Boston and A20 that we have, the scenario use is much greater.

Beautiful aircraft and a heckuva performer, but I'd save it for a Korea arena if there ever was one.

The A-26 was my favorite ride in Air Warrior

And I think it would get alot of use in the Main Arenas.......

As much as I would like to see a A-26 I would rather see a B-25 with
several varients for scenario use..

With the A-20G and it's Boston III brethren, plus the B-26, The A-26 becomes somewhat redundant. Sorry fellas, the A-26 probably won't make it past the first or second round of voting.

The fact it was serving in the COIN role as late as Vietnam and later to current day as a Borate bomber should be merrit enough to its design.

B25, is gonna give it a run for its money,
funny thing is if we ended up getting an H model B25, well that wouldnt hurt my feelings a bit either, just so long as that brewster doesnt make it, whew everyone knows that thing is junk right?

4 more in turrents
6K# in bombs
355 max speed and a 1K+ft/min climb rate.

vs the b-25

..... can carrier launch?
only 12 guns total
same bombload, but much slower, with an 800ft/min climb rate.

Even if the a-26 isn't going to happen, it's what I'll vote for tonight.
