They should have shot a few employers instead.

TUCSON, Ariz. - Gunmen ambushed nearly two dozen suspected illegal immigrants and smugglers packed into a pickup truck early Friday, killing two people and wounding at least one, authorities said.

Oh well.

From what you put up it looks like they had the right idea. just shot the wrong people.

thats why I say you shoot them if you catcvh them crossing the boarder.
Meaning you do it at the boarder.

In that case. Mow em down like grass

Ahh so they didnt shoot the wrong people after all

And for added gravy

People in the truck ran off soon after the shootings. As deputies and U.S. Border Patrol agents searched for them they also found several unrelated groups of illegal immigrants and took them into custody.

Alls well that ends well.

I feel no pity or compassion for anyone who has to anything bad happen to them when entering this country illegally

There's not enough information in the story IMO it could be a farmer defending his land... which I fully support since the losers in DC refuse to do so.

"Walking the line", shows frustrated farmers dressed and armed in full military garb, NVDs, AR15s w/ 40mm etc... they go out nightly, on private property, looking for a gun fight with anyone including the Mexican military.

At one point they confront Mexican military soldiers at the border fence, the Mexicans, armed with the latest US weapons driving a Hummer, demanded the US citizens on US soil stop taping them (and their drug smuggling). Others US citizens relate how often border gun fights erupt and how the suspects always get away by slithering back to Mexico... and the US authorities do nothing about it.

Its a good flick

Edit: check out the trailer, I almost want to goin these guys at "Ranch Rescue"

Its a travesty that the U.S. government will not stop these illegal immigrants from coming to the U.S. and draining further our already stretched resources.

Now this may be hypocritical of me, but I don't want any uneducated immigrants.  I am fine with immigrants coming to the U.S. who have degrees, or are very skilled (carpentry, cooking, etc).

We have enough fine young Americans as it is that are as uneducated as the poorest third world citizens, and whom speak in such a mangled form of english that no respectable employer would even give them a chance.

So really, there are three things that can happen:

(1) Illegal immigrants will continue to flow into our country, draining our resources, causing an increased rate of urban decay and expansion of our slums and ghettos.

(2) We can try to utilize this influx of immigrants by creating an effective education and vocational system for working class citizens.

(3) We can start treating this massive influx of illegal immigrants as what it really is, border incursions.  10 year prison sentences and make-shift prison camps in the hot Arizona/Texas desert could be used to punish the border incursions before sending them back to Mexico.

-Additions to option (3): Upon entering prison, allow each prisoner to take an IQ test.  Offer the smartest prisoners a chance to live in the U.S. and an opportunity for education.  The U.S. can always use smart citizens.

Simple concept

Dont cross the arbitrary line in the dirt without filling out the proper paperwork and you wont get murdered.

These people are an invading force. and should be treated as such

What most, if not all of you have missed is that this is not an isolated incident and almost certainly not from American's shooting up the smugglers and illegals.

For some time there has been a small war being conducted between the smugglers / coyotes trying to gain more $ by ripping off the competition. They can kill or run off the competing coyote and shake down the illegals again for whatever they are carrying. They extort another "fee" to smuggle them into the States while they are already IN the US. If they are packing drugs, even more profit. In other words it's illegals shooting up other illegals here on our side of the fence.

While some folks would like to blame this on the border moonitoring groups all I have seen or heard about through the local news in Tucson was that it has been other Mexicans hitting illegals here. Strange as it seems, smuggling illegals into the States is a money making operation.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

Too bad those guys don't pay, I can't afford to miss work. I would love to get some practical man tracking experience.

I wonder if they employ UAVs. You can make a rudimentary UAV with live video link for a couple hundred. For about a thousand you can make a long range one with gps and flight data telemetry, if you have the means you can put a miniature thermal camera on it.

You could close down the border using dirt bikes and rc aircraft.

I think a good start would be making it illegal to pay people on work visas less than minimum wage. Most illegals aren't border jumpers, they came on a temporary visa.

There's a reason that it's so hard to become a US citizen legally. The reason is that the system prefers illegal immigrants, that's where the money is.

Illegal immigration interdiction is a big and growing economy, soon it will be bigger than drug interdiction.

If you attack the supply instead of the demand you will have a self propigating problem. You'll need to continually expand the government agencies tasked with controlling the flow. Remember when Dubya forced some states to use their national guard as border patrol. It was a ploy to get more tax dollars to expand the border patrol. Yeah it caused a lot of upheavel and disruption in thousands of citizen soldiers' families, but hey it was for a political cause, tax dollars no less. Hey if you can't use our fighting men for political leverage, what good are they?

Just think of all the people who would lose jobs and revenue if illegal labor and drug trade went away.

If we hung a few employers who knowingly hired illegals from the lamp posts it would all work out pretty quickly.
